I am the parent of an amazing child, M, who is currently 11 years old.  While M has a number of challenges, including ADHD and anxiety, being his parent has helped me face up to many of my own anxieties and become a stronger, happier person. Over the last few years, I’ve learned that laughter and humour are the best defenses against even the worst day and they help make a good day that more special.

I am married and work full-time. In my spare time (lol), I do a variety of crafts, as well as read, garden, cycle, ski and walk my standard poodle, Jet. I’m always looking to learn new things. However, if there’s a complicated way to do something, I’ll probably find it.

  1. I like your blog very much. It’s a lovely thing to do. You know what Socrates said about an unexamined life… I’ll check in again soon.

  2. I saw you over at ReFab and wanted to tell you there (but was afraid I would look like I was hijacking the blog) that I’m on a mommy writer blog called Peanut Butter on the Keyboard. We’d love to see you there in the comments someday, and if you’d ever like to blog for us, that would be awesome, too! Hugs, Kieran :>)
